Cute Portuguese bistro with a curated menu (we pretty much ordered everything ) featuring both indoor and outdoor seating. - Chamucas: Portuguese-African inspired “samosas” with chicken and vegetarian filling options. I love the crispness of the filo pastry and the piri piri sauce (reminds me of shakshuka). - Empanada: comes with a creamy shrimp filling (like a cross between a chowder and bechamel sauce). Similar to a croquette IMO. Of the two starters, I prefer the chamucas. - Frango (we had the 1/2 order) with side of rice, salad & fries. The sides were all delicious (the salad was my favorite). The chicken was simple and flavorful. Overall a nice lunch spot. It is worth noting that they make the bread (like a sourdough) in house and all the wines are Portuguese

Frango is one of the best places to eat in the entire city. Not only is the food very fresh and well-prepared with proper cuisine training, quality ingredients, and proper techniques, but the sense of family and closeness with all eating and working in the restaurant is what truly makes this restaurant an authentic tasca. Sitting down to have a full meal or even just a glass of wine is always a memorable experience— all restaurants should strive to be more like this. It’s the restaurant I visit the most in the city!

This place was really good in food, and the service was good too. I especially liked their “Frango”, grilled chicken in Portuguese; it was to die for. The place is small. I only have two qualms: it is limited in drinks. There isn’t much non alcoholic options and I wish they had Port wine as an option. Lastly they don’t have pastel de nata on the weekdays, very sad. Other than those two things I really enjoyed myself at this place.

I visited here about 2 weeks ago and I can’t stop thinking about it. It is a small quaint Portuguese restaurant and we were served by a lady called Tiana. She was very nice and attentive We had chamucas de pollo and when I first tasted it I could have cried. It is a fried pastry with chicken filling accompanied with a red chutney origins from Goa. The flavours were delicious and spicy and moreish. I would definitely go back just for these. We had frango a la Bresa medio and entero as were very hungry with accompaniment of salad and jasmine rice. The portion sizes were generous and we took some back with us. The chutney served alongside was delicious too. I cannot fault this restaurant and planning my return.

Darling, cozy little restaurant with the nicest owners. The food is absolutely fabulous - perfectly cooked piri piri chicken, tangy red pepper sauce and flavourful appetizers (empanadas). Right amount of spice and huge portions for the price. Definitely want to return!
